We are interested in rare stamps with a certificate, entire collections and old stamps (before 1954).

We are not interested in collections of childhood or modern collections (after 1954).

A consignment should have a minimum value of 2000 Euro and the average price for single lots should be 100 Euro.
If your collection meets our requirements for the auction, our experts will be available to you for a detailed examination of your stamps. Additionally, we offer consultation through our experts in order to make to the right decisions in the following process:
Should it come to a consignment of your stamps, collections or letters, you will enter into an auction contract with Viennafil. By concluding this contract, you instruct us to sell the items at the highest possible price in the next auction.
Only in exceptional cases we purchase collections or rare single items. In case of direct sale, you will receive the agreed amount immediately in cash or by bank transfer.
Your collection will be split up into single lots and evaluated by our philatelic experts. Depending on which aea the lots are from the evaluation will be in German, Italian or English.
Those single lots will be posted in our online catalogues for the following auction.
Special collections will be pictured in our specialized catalogues.
Our flip- and online-catalogues will be posted on our website and on social media, therefore your pieces will be exposed to our international clientele all around the world.
We print around 5000 pieces of our auction-catalogues and mail them to our customers all around the world. Additionally, we advertise our auctions in many countries directly, whenever we are on a philatelic fairs and philatelic journals.
Our public auctions take place twice a year in the conference rooms of the The Levante Parliament Hotel in Vienna. Up to 100 collectors are present at our public auctions, hundreds of passionate collectors place their bids at our auction through our innovative “Live Bieten”option, or are represented by professional bidding agents in the auction hall.
The price realized of our public auctions are published on our website after each auction.
The unsold lots are available at the starting price + buyer’s premium. The unsold lots are available at least for 4 weeks. Discounts are usually not possible. Please consult the list of unsold lots and send us a request.
Six weeks after the auction we send the result list of the sold lots to our submitters. Normally the payment of the sold lots will take place in the fourth month after the auction. We offer you the option to put the unsold lots into our next auction
